Established in 1916 by Nathan Handwerker, a Polish immigrant who used his grandmother’s secret spice recipe has now grown to over 400 company-owned and franchised restaurants in all 50 states and 17 foreign countries. Nathan's brand products are found in about 45,000 stores across the United States. We, at The Farmer Companies, saw an opportunity to extend the Nathan’s brand in the market, further complementing the long-standing history of the brand.
